Role Overview
Provides specialized anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings, including surgical, obstetric, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs pre-operative patient assessments and develops individualized care plans.
- Establishes and maintains venous access and airway management.
- Induces, monitors, and concludes anesthesia procedures safely.
- Transfers patient care post-procedure and conducts post-operative follow-up.
- Acts as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.
- Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with active licensure and certification from the NBCRNA.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state.
- Proficiency in neuraxial anesthesia, regional nerve blocks, PICC/midline insertion, ultrasound, and obstetric anesthesia.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including call duties, with effective communication, visual acuity, and team collaboration skills.
