Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

About the role

Provides anesthesia care in surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision, including preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up. Acts as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia, monitor patient status, and ensure safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, maintain up-to-date equipment, and support expanding regional surgical services.
• Participate in on-call duties, including backup call and overtime.
• Support a growing department with modern technology, contribute to a collaborative environment, and provide quality anesthesia care.
• Opportunities include teaching and mentorship in a clinical site environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience in anesthesia preferred; SRNAs are welcome.
• Must demonstrate teamwork, excellent communication, and a focus on patient safety.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of case types, including orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, endoscopy, and obstetrics.
