Join us in Astoria, NY as a full-time Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA). You'll work directly with individuals in recovery, utilizing your own experience to help others overcome substance abuse challenges. This role requires a full CRPA certification and familiarity with trauma-informed care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Full CRPA certification required
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care
- Experience in peer support or recovery settings
- Ability to work Mon-Fri 08:30am–04:30pm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification required
- Experience in addiction recovery
- Knowledge of community resources
- Ability to lead support groups
- Experience with individualized recovery planning
