Certified Public Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Calculate and record fixed asset depreciation and maintain depreciation schedules.
• Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and strong internal controls.
• Cook up with external auditors and support audit activities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure the confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Gusto, Expensify or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
