AfterQuery is seeking Accounting professionals to create and evaluate accounting reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design realistic accounting scenarios — journal-entry logic, close processes, reporting judgments — that test an AI model's ability to reason through accounting work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop accounting scenarios, reporting exercises, and close-process cases that challenge AI models
• Evaluate and validate model responses for technical accuracy under GAAP/IFRS
• Collaborate with accounting and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and coverage

Required Qualifications

• Experience in general or technical accounting
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or comparable credential
• Experience across industries or public accounting
• Familiarity with major ERP/accounting systems is a plus
