About the role
We are currently looking for instructors who are confident working with clients of all fitness levels and committed to delivering challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and excellent customer service
- Lead group classes of up to 12 clients effectively and safely
- Clearly communicate movement directions and exercise cues
- Support clients in improving overall health, posture, strength, and muscle tone
- Incorporate props and modalities such as TRX, Barre, and Trigger Point into class programming
- Stay current with developments in the fitness and Pilates industries
- Aid in cleaning and maintaining studio equipment and spaces
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Demonstrate and assist with exercises requiring bending and lifting
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3–12 months of experience teaching group reformer classes preferred
- Comprehensive Pilates Certification through programs such as STOTT, Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, or Club Pilates
- Minimum Qualifications for Apprentice Instructors: 250+ hours of comprehensive training completed, all reformer and mat coursework completed, enrollment in or completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Training Program such as STOTT, Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, or Club Pilates
