Certified Pilates Instructor – Gilbert

About the role

Empowered Pilates is one of the largest family-owned Club Pilates franchise groups in Arizona and Colorado, operating 26 studios with continued growth across both states. We are currently hiring Certified Pilates Instructors for our Gilbert-area studios, including: North Gilbert Morrison Ranch.

Responsibilities

• Pursue Pilates group reformer classes according to Club Pilates standards.
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, utilizing a variety of equipment such as Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
• Create creative class flows that are challenging and level-appropriate.
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed.
• Inspect equipment before each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
• Aid with membership sales and client check-ins.
• Participate in special events to promote the studio.
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services.
• Deliver the "Message of the Week" after every class.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus).
• Experience teaching group classes.
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction.
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated.
• Focused on exceptional customer service, including professional and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
• Willingness to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment.
