Certified Pilates Instructor – Flagstaff

About the role

We are currently hiring Certified Pilates Instructors for our Flagstaff studio. The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting our team and community.

Responsibilities

• Pursue Pilates group reformer classes according to Club Pilates standards
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, using a variety of equipment including Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
• Celebrate and encourage a positive studio culture that is inclusive and supportive
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
• Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
• Aid in membership sales and client check-in
• Participate in special events to promote the studio
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services
• Deliver the "Message of the Week" after every class
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
• Experience teaching group classes
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
• Focused on exceptional customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment
