Requirements
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university
- Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
- 6 months full-time clinical experience
- Pediatrics experience
- Home Health experience preferred
- Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
- Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines
- Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
- Plans for care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
