Requirements
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university
- Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
- 6 months full-time clinical experience
- Pediatrics experience
- Home Health experience preferred
- Valid auto insurance and driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
- Schedule supervision visits with supervising PT as per Texas board guidelines
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
- Plan care to meet physical therapy intervention goals
- Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking
- Enhance physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and adding value to job accomplishments
