Certified Phlebotomy Technicians obtain specimens for laboratory testing. Assistance is given in various areas of the lab when not performing venipuncture. Education High School Diploma or GED Licenses & Certifications Certified Phlebotomist Qualifications Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner.Must be able to provide leadership in a team environment.Must demonstrate computer skills within 90 days.National Certification required.One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
