Key job responsibilities
- Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle
- Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return
- Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment
- Aid pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Work daily with leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders
- Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
- Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
- Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
- Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
- Pack and ship completed orders, including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser and shipping boxes
- Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
- Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
- Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas within the pharmacy
- Pack medications for dispensing and for delivery
Physical Requirements
- During Peak/high demand, shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 8-10 hours, excluding overtime)
- Driving and transporting medications from Pharmacy locations to Kiosks for long periods of time (8+hrs)
- Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching
- Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight
- Manual dexterity of hands and wrists
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor
- Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels
- Active and unrestricted in-state driver’s license
- Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks (to be rechecked annually)
