Certified Petroleum Service Technician

The Role

Petro Towery is expanding in Ohio and seeks skilled, self-motivated technicians to help expand their footprint. This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fuel dispensers, pumps, and control systems, diagnosing and repairing POS systems and integrated fuel technology platforms, servicing and maintaining tank monitoring systems and site equipment, reading and interpreting technical documentation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fuel dispensers, pumps, and control systems
• Diagnose and repair POS systems and integrated fuel technology platforms
• Service and maintain tank monitoring systems and site equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and fire safety regulations
• Deliver high-quality service with a focus on first-time fix and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of mechanical, electrical, or technical experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills and ability to read technical schematics
• Able to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation
• Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• Gilbarco and/or Passport certification
• Verifone Commander certification
• Gasboy Prime certification
• Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems certification
• Experience with fueling systems, POS systems, or petroleum equipment

Pay

$28.00+ per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Flexible hours and on-call rotation required
