About the Role

This is a full-time, community-based position located in Exton, PA. You’ll provide peer support using your own lived experience to help others feel understood, hopeful, and less alone.

Responsibilities

  • Offers practical guidance (e.g., coping strategies, navigating services, building routines) based on what has worked for you personally.
  • Supports recovery goals by helping people set and work toward goals like stability, wellness, employment/education, or community connection.
  • Builds trusting, nonjudgmental relationships and encourages self-advocacy and independence.
  • Works alongside clinicians and community providers (when applicable) to share insights and promote coordinated, person-centered care.
  • Helps reduce isolation by connecting people to groups, resources, and community activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services-related field (equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered).
  • Certified Peer Specialist Training and Peer Specialist Certification.
  • PA Criminal Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable), and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
