About the role
The Peer Recovery Coach II engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to help them explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. The PRC II coaches and guides other Peer Support professionals, provides peer services supervision in collaboration with the clinical supervisor, and acts as a peer services consultant to program leadership and staff. They may deliver educational supervision groups on peer support services and roles, promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture, and respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
Responsibilities
- Coach and guide other Peer Support professionals in delivering peer support services.
- Provide peer services supervision in collaboration with the clinical supervisor.
- Act as a peer services consultant to program leadership and other staff.
- Deliver educational supervision groups on the unique discipline of peer support services.
- Promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS).
- Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.
- Use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Peer Specialist and/or completed Peer Support Training.
- Two (2) years or part-time equivalent of experience supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges.
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

Pay
Expected starting wage range is $23.00 - $27.08. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
