Certified Peer Recovery Advocate (CPRA)

About the role

Morning Star II is an OASAS-licensed, support residential program for adult women in recovery from substance use, that accommodates both the women and their pre-school age children.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to program, service providers
• Aid in data collection during and after their stay at the residence
• Keep contact with residents post-discharge, including assistance as needed with connecting with community services

Qualifications

• Women in recovery with experience similar to Morning Star residents
• High School diploma or GED
• Recovery Peer Advocate - Provisional certification acceptable, Full certification preferred
