Responsibilities

  • Process certified payroll entries accurately for federal, state, and municipal construction projects.
  • Prepare and examine weekly certified payroll reports to confirm compliance with applicable wage and labor requirements.
  • Administer payroll garnishments and ensure deductions are applied correctly and on time.
  • Enter and maintain employee pay rate changes, including increases, within the payroll system.
  • Complete employment verification requests while protecting confidential employee information.
  • Support multi-state payroll operations for a workforce of more than 500 employees.
  • Use ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records, process updates, and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and address discrepancies before final submission.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of payroll experience, including hands-on work with certified payroll.
  • Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Background handling payroll for employee populations exceeding 500 workers.
  • Working knowledge of garnishment administration and payroll deductions.
  • Familiarity with certified payroll reporting for public works or government-funded projects.
  • Ability to manage employment verification requests accurately and professionally.
