Job Summary and Qualifications
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, under the general supervision of the occupational therapist, is responsible for the treatment of a wide variety of patients, including those with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in areas such as acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- One to two years' experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- SNF experience will be considered
- Acute Care experience preferred
