Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Valencia
CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services headquartered in San Ramon, CA, is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA). About the Role
Occupational therapy focuses on specific daily activities and movements. Utilizing common items at home or special adaptive equipment, the OT will train the patient or caregiver in activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing. There are also advanced activities such as cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping that the OT is particularly geared toward. In addition, the occupational therapy team focuses on community re-integration, as well as introducing patients to leisure-type activities that provide a holistic approach to treating health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Train patients or caregivers in daily activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing using adaptive equipment as needed.
- Assist with advanced activities including cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping.
- Support community re-integration and introduce leisure activities for holistic health and wellness.
Requirements
- Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- CPR Certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (desired).

Pay
From $80,000.00 per year (starting rate based on full-time schedule).
Schedule
Per Diem (6 visits per week). Non-traditional schedules are available, such as Thursday–Monday.
Location
Area #43 covering the cities of Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia, and Santa Clarita.
