About the role

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator, or Human Services Professional passionate about supporting adults with traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

In this supervisory role, you will combine rehabilitation, case management, coaching, and leadership to help participants develop vocational skills, increase independence, and reach their employment goals.

Responsibilities

  • Empower Individuals to Succeed
    • Provide case management, vocational rehabilitation, and individualized support services to adults with traumatic brain injuries.
    • Aid participants in developing and implementing individualized service plans focused on vocational and personal goals.
    • Support skill development, independence, workplace readiness, and community integration.
  • Collaborate with a Dedicated Team
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, community partners, employers, and support networks to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes participant safety, growth, and productivity.
    • Drive Quality and Excellence
      • Monitor participant progress and document outcomes through timely reports and case notes.
      • Mentor consumers to develop strong work habits and maintain high standards of quality and performance.
      • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance participant success and customer satisfaction.
      • Supervise and support team members to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
  • Experience working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurological conditions, disabilities, or vocational rehabilitation programs.
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and case management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat as needed.
