Responsibilities

• Administer therapy services to patients requiring intermittent professional services
• Teach the patient, family, and other members of the health care team
• Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC)

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of clinical education
• Licensed in the state where they currently practice
• At least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
• Valid state driver license
• Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Dependable transportation in good working condition
• Able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• CPR certification

Preferred qualifications: experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with approval from the regional vice president or regional director; Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
