About the role

Newberry Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our exceptional team. This position is primarily focused on outpatient pediatric therapy within our free-standing clinics, which are part of our rehab department offering both adult and pediatric outpatient services.

Responsibilities

With supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, the COTA will:

• Administer optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing an occupational therapy program.
• Provide documentation and treatment tailored to individual patients.
• Utilize treatment media, approaches, and techniques appropriate and specific to the population served.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of South Carolina.
• BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a COTA preferred.
• New graduates will be considered.
