Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

About the role

As an occupational therapy assistant at Enhance Rehabilitation, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist as part of a growing team. You will assist in treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by occupational therapists, ensuring every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• With assistance from the occupational therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of occupational therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with the occupational therapist, director of rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
