Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is hiring per diem COTAs to join our therapy team.
Pay
Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of collection of assessment data and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Perform additional assigned administrative duties as assigned by Rehab Program Manager.
- Under a physician’s order, provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care (individual, supervised, and group).
- Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
- Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
- Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
- Document activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
- Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
- Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
- Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality services and/or outcomes required to meet or exceed the expectations of those utilizing or impacted by the department.
Requirements
- Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
- Must possess a COTA license in Massachusetts.
