About the role

At AdviniaCare, our residents aren't just names on a caseload. We give our COTAs the chance to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team—while helping people regain independence and reclaim everyday activities that matter most. This full‑time position is located less than 5 miles from Newton‑Wellesley Hospital and is effective 9/21/26.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive impairments.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs.
• Design and implement interventions to improve activities of daily living, cognitive function, and overall well‑being.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy habits and long‑term independence.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
