About the role
Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our care team on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you’ll help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy and hands-on support.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Occupational Therapist to assess residents and create individualized treatment plans.
- Assist residents in performing daily tasks that promote independence and well-being.
- Guide and monitor residents during therapeutic activities to ensure safety and progress.
- Help residents recover and regain function following illness, injury, or surgery.
- Handle all resident information with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Florida State COTA License – Required
- Experience in long-term care – Preferred
