Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is seeking a talented Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in the Spearfish, SD area. Responsibilities
- Help residents improve their mobility.
- Assist residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Educate residents on what to anticipate during different stages of recovery and how to handle each situation.
- Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with the state of employment.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to commute to Spearfish, SD (required).
- Ability to relocate to Spearfish, SD before starting work (required).
