About the role

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital–Oklahoma City, a joint venture with Select Medical, is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant reports directly to the Occupational Therapist and treats patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses. This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Monitor patient’s response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in‑services

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment (or as required by state regulations)

Pay

$40.00 per hour
