Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), Inpatient Rehabilitation
About the role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team at Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital: White Hall. Our mission is to provide exceptional patient care that exceeds industry standards and meets patient expectations.
Responsibilities
- Report patient progress and concerns to supervising therapists and collaborate with the care team.
- Educate families and nursing staff on supportive follow-through programs.
- Tackle the details—assist with scheduling and accurately post patient charges to records.
- Document care clearly and compliantly, meeting all regulatory, licensure, payer, and accrediting standards.
- Foster a safe, organized, and clean treatment environment for everyone.
- Operate with integrity, aligning with our Code of Business Conduct and all applicable policies and laws.
- Jump in wherever you're needed to support the team and our patients' success.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates must maintain certification from both the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree.
- Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered.
- CPR Certification (when Required).

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Full-Time (FT) with Monday-Friday hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
