About the role
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette will assist the Occupational Therapist in developing individual treatment programs and administering the occupational therapy treatment program as directed.
Responsibilities
- Assists Occupational Therapists in developing individual treatment programs
- Administers occupational therapy treatment programs as directed by Occupational Therapists and as ordered by Physicians
- Shift Differentials are paid for all Weekend Shifts!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Occupational therapy school
- Maintains a current State License
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for making a difference in patient care
