Facility: Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts – a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/subacute setting, both located in the same building.

About the role

Join our rehabilitation team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) serving patients across both LTACH and SNF/subacute settings. In this full-time, nonexempt role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on patient care, implement individualized treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and caregivers, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and exceptional care.

Schedule

  • Days shift, 4–5 days per week
  • Flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, abilities, and needs
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment programs and recovery processes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and exceptional care

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred

Pay

Hourly range: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour
