Primary Job Responsibilities
- Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
- A current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred
