Certified Nursing Assistants (Skilled Nursing Facility) 7a-7p

At Encore Village of Schaumburg, you’ll do much more than provide daily care—you’ll build relationships, offer reassurance, celebrate progress, and help residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to the nurse immediately when noted.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by the Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation, which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families, and co‑workers utilizing a pleasant, positive approach.
• Respect residents’ rights for privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois CNA certificate.
• Current CPR card.

Schedule

7 am – 7 pm in the skilled area.
