Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Needed for Assignments

Job Summary

Preferred Care at Home of Greater Huntsville is hiring dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and experienced caregivers for immediate assignments. The company offers consistent hours, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care)
• Provide mobility support and transfers
• Use assistive devices (gait belt, walker, wheelchair, Hoyer lift)
• Avoid falls and promote general safety
• Help reposition bedbound clients to prevent discomfort
• Offer companionship and daily living assistance
• Follow care plans and ensure client safety
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor for changes in mood or behavior
• Engage clients in hobbies, games, or activities
• Provide conversation and social interaction
• Remind clients to take medications as scheduled

Requirements

• 2 years of caregiving experience OR CNA Certification
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Pass background screening
• High school diploma/GED

Schedule

• Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
• On-call and holiday availability may be required
