Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital in Arcadia/Temple City, CA is urgently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team.

Pay

$21-$25 per hour (depending on years of experience).

$1,500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments: $750 after 90 days and $750 after 180 days (must be in good standing with no performance or attendance issues; rehires are not eligible).

$3 additional per hour for working any weekend shift.

$2 additional per hour for working the NOC (night) shift.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts on a strict 4-2 rotation:
• AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• PM: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• NOC: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse to provide assistance with daily living for residents according to established policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and take and record vital signs.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and their families.
• Treat everyone with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.

Requirements

• CNA certification in the state with successful completion of a CNA program.
• BLS certification (must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant experience or direct care for multiple residents.
• Behavioral care experience.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
