About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant - Unit Coordinator role at Lincoln Hospital coordinates and organizes clinical duties of the unit or department and performs CNA or LNA duties as appropriate under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and organizes clinical duties of the unit or department
• Performs CNA or LNA duties as appropriate
• Serves as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Ensures patient safety and comfort
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Maine or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in New Hampshire
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
