About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Unit Coordinator role at Lincoln Hospital coordinates and organizes clinical duties of the unit or department and performs CNA or LNA duties as appropriate under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and organizes clinical duties of the unit or department
- Performs CNA or LNA duties as appropriate
- Serves as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Ensures patient safety and comfort
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Maine or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in New Hampshire
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
