Job Purpose As a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant at PruittHealth Coastal Central, you will play an essential role in ensuring our patients and residents receive safe, timely, and supportive transportation to appointments, therapies, and activities. Key Responsibilities Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and approved outingsAssist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniquesDeliver hands-on CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as neededMaintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactionsComplete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on timeUphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehiclesDemonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policiesPartner closely with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations Minimum Education Required Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationHigh School diploma or GEDCPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Minimum Experience Required None ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record -Motor Vehicle Record is required as part of pre-employment.1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportationFamiliarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devicesAbility to lift, transfer, and assist patients safelyExcellent communication and service skills Family Makes Us Stronger.
