CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT - THE OAKS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a caring environment. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities and supporting the charge nurse with resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed during shift.
• Provide oral hygiene, including denture care, in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and as needed.
• Complete patient care records at the end of each shift, including accurate intake and output (I and O) documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist the charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) listed in the DFS registry.
• Willingness to care for geriatric patients with genuine concern for their welfare.
• Ability to receive, understand, and follow orders.
