About the role
We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our newly created 40-bed medical surgical unit. This transitional care unit focuses on patients requiring a longer length of stay and bridges gaps between various providers, services, and settings.
Responsibilities
- Takes vital signs
- Assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living
- Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Affords consideration of the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
- CNA experience 0-6 months
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Skills
- Ability to identify patient needs, risks, and interventions
- Excellent communication skills to interact and problem-solve with healthcare professionals, hospital administration, patients, and families

Pay
Sign-on bonuses available for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA): 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 (full time); 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time).
Schedule
Part-time, day-shift with 2-12-hour shifts, including weekends.
