About the role

Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for their PACE Unit. This is a Full-Time Days position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm without call or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including patient activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• No prior experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant certification required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail

Benefits

Up to $500 sign-on bonus for Full-Time Days CNA positions.
