Certified Nursing Assistant - Nights

About the Role

This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by supporting daily needs and enhancing the overall well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation
• Completes vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG)
• Performs patient rounds
• Transports patients as requested
• Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments
• Performs other functions and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
• Previous experience in a behavioral health setting and knowledge of the facility’s population preferred (newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply)

Qualifications

• Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
• Current NC Driver’s License
