About the Role

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in our Long Term Care facility, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to residents who can no longer care for themselves. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, their families, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning and evening hygiene routines for residents
• Ensure residents are fed and hydrated
• Follow personalized care plans for each resident
• Reposition residents to ensure comfort and prevent complications
• Maintain cleanliness of residents and their spaces to prevent infection
• Work closely with residents to support their physical and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Idaho or willing to obtain certification within 120 days of hire
• Must be CPR-certified
• Working knowledge of basic healthcare equipment, including wheelchairs, electrical beds, lift equipment, carts, scales, and vital sign analysis tools
• Ability to competently and positively interact with residents, colleagues, and the public

Essential Job Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance
• Frequent standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, or twisting
• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, or operating foot controls and lifts
• Ability to move or push up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Required vision abilities: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
• Compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Work Environment

• 24/7 operational needs may require availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, contagious diseases, and hazardous waste
• Occasional exposure to bodily injury, loud or unpleasant noise, unpleasant odors, and emotional or physical stress

Schedule

• 36-40 hours per week
• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
