Responsibilities
- Work with mentees on developing the skills necessary to become a phenomenal CNA and coworker.
- Utilize your leadership skills to cultivate an engaging, hard-working, and friendly work environment.
- Build a positive, friendly relationship that gives all new CNAs someone to look forward to working with.
- Encourage strong working relationships amongst facility staff for positive acceptance of all new CNAs mentees.
- Provide great resident care through positive training and retaining of new CNA staff.
- Stay up to date on CNA mentee training and facility policy and procedure.
- Work 1:1 with CNA Mentee to complete training/orientation.
- Work closely with newly hired CNAs to complete all required competencies.
- Work closely with HR, DON, Scheduler, and CNA Supervisor as needed.
- Complete all required Mentorship paperwork.
Qualifications
- Experienced CNA with enthusiasm, dependability, and a desire to mentor.
- Desire to be a leader and help fellow coworkers or grow as a leader.
Benefits
- $200.00 bonus for every mentee who achieves 90-day job retention.
- $400.00 bonus for every mentee who achieves 6-month job retention.
- One hour increase to your base hourly wage only during scheduled time of direct training/orientation.
