Certified Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg - Part Time - Nights
About the role
Works as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in a Medical Surgical Unit with 24 beds and private rooms.
- Care for pediatric and adult patients with medical and surgical conditions.
- Provide specialized care including chemotherapy administration, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, and hospice care.
- Coordinate with advanced resources based on patient needs, such as ostomy care, weekend infusion services, and more.
- Connect patients with discharge and social services to support their recovery and return to health.
Requirements
- Certification in the State of Colorado following completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant course.
- BCLS certification required within 45 days of hire.
- The ability to make appropriate decisions based on fact and knowledge is required.
