Certified Nursing Assistant Med Surg

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs care as delegated by the RN.
• Receives report from RN daily by 0830 or 2030 to coordinate plan of care related to ADL's.
• Documents all ADL's for each patient every shift.
• Answers lights or intercom system to determine patients' needs.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring help.
• Transports patients or assists patients to walk.
• Runs errands and directs visitors.
• Participates in admission/discharge activities.
• Accurately documents the care provided to patient during shift.
• Adheres to infection prevention strategies.
• Stocks rooms with supplies.
• Stocks isolation racks with supplies.
• Responsible to perform purposeful rounding.
• Updates "care boards" to include name, plan related to ADL/s, date.

Shift Details: Full Time - Day shifts
Department: Med-Surg - primary floor will be 3rd, but they will float to 5M as necessary, and occasionally to the ED as a sitter

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), Current Montana C.N.A. certification required upon hire, BLS required within 60 days of hire
Preferred: Previous hospital experience

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $26.25
