Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice

About the role

This position is community-based. It requires a willingness to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and as directed by nursing management.
• Works with other licensed care staff to coordinate proper types of care to residents.
• Strictly follows all Company nursing policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines.
• Collaborates daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Gains higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education.
• Works closely with patients on a 1-1 level but gets strong support from a patient care team.
• Works independently and on one's own from a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Able to work independently and on one's own from a day-to-day basis.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

Pay

Pay range $19-$23 per hour.

Day shift, Monday - Friday, (8 hour shifts, Saturday rotation).
