About the role
Assists residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed during shift.
Completes patient care records at the end of each shift, including accurate In and Out (I and O) documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned, assisting the charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), listed in the DFS registry
- Genuine concern for the welfare of geriatric patients
- Willingness to follow orders
- Attendance at in-service training and other staff meetings as required
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug-free workplace requirement
