Piedmont Medical Network has served the community of York County and beyond for more than 30 years. Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital is a 288-bed facility that has advanced equipment and experienced healthcare staff catering to the diverse needs of the community it serves. Services include preventive care, advanced heart and stroke care, maternity care and a Level III NICU. Piedmont Medical Network - Fort Mill Hospital opened in 2022 with 100-beds, advanced technology and a compassionate care team.
Responsibilities
- Accurately checks patient’s blood sugar and documents results as ordered (all values are correctly reported to attending nurse)
- Obtains vital signs appropriately based on patient’s age and condition.
- Reports abnormal findings immediately to attending or charge nurse
- Performs patient interventions completely and proficiently within scope of practice and demonstrates age specific competency for population of patients served.
- Provides appropriate treatment in emergency situations as they arise (i.e. codes, patient falls).
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of CNA course required
- Experience: Previous work experience in a patient care role can meet education requirement.
- Licensure/Certification: CNA - must be certified within 6 months of employment, and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited Nursing Curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. CPI required within orientation.
