About the role
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Record vital signs
- Provide psychosocial support
- Support nursing staff with procedures
- Document interactions
- Communicate resident condition changes
- Help with meals
- Ensure cleanliness
- Encourage participation in wellness and recreational activities
- Apply knowledge of infection control and proper transfer techniques
- Adhere to care plans
- When applicable, perform driving responsibilities
Qualifications
- State-certified CNA certification
- Minimum age of 16
- Preferred prior clinical experience
- Ongoing competency testing, continuing education, and certifications are mandatory
