Certified Nursing Assistant (FT Rotating Schedules)

About the role

$1500 Sign On Bonus under new management. Increased wages available for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK. Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy, promote the greatest possible degree of independence for residents, advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at beginning and end of shift, contribute to resident care plans, assist in implementing care plans, observe and report residents’ conditions, document observations, comply with safe lifting and transfer procedures, maintain clean and functional equipment, and perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Assure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
